Paws Around Town


The Pub is hosting an event with the Naples Humane Society on the event lawn in Mercato from 2 to 5 p.m. Bring your fur babies or just yourself to play with adorable puppies that are ready for adoption. There will also be live music, lawn games, food and an outdoor bar.

Labor Day 5K Run


Friends of Foster Children is hosting their annual Labor Day 5k run in Lowdermilk Park. Come out and take part in the run or come and support. Proceeds will go to Friends of Foster Children, which helps connect foster children with early education centers and tutoring.

Opera Naples: ‘Falstaff


Opera Naples is hosting its summer series of classic European opera films featuring “Falstaff” (Staatsoper Hamburg) with Ambrogio Maestri. Directed by Calixto Bieito, it presents a surprise-packed production of Giuseppe Verdi’s comic opera “Falstaff,” which Bieito reinterprets as an apocalyptic satire on entertainment and a prototype scenario of modern society.

Sizzle Dining Restaurant Week

Over 40 restaurants from Cape Coral all the way down to Marco Island are participating in Sizzle Dining Restaurant Week. Come enjoy a two-course lunch at a fixed rate of $19 or $24 and three-course dinners at a rate of $32 or $42. For every meal purchased, each restaurant will donate $1 to Blessings in a Backpack Southwest Florida, a 501c3 that feeds elementary students in need on the weekends.

Full Moon Chef’s Dinner


Harvest Moon is hosting an exclusive private event at The Catch of the Pelican under the full moon. At this event, you can enjoy a specialty-prepared four-course meal under the stars. Your meal will also have an exclusive beverage pairing with each course.

Garden Talk – Butterfly Gardening


Edison and Ford Winter Estates is hosting a butterfly gardening event. This event will teach you everything you need to know about the type of plants needed for your butterfly garden — ranging from eye-catching nectar plants to a variety of larval host plants.

Pure Florida’s Bark on the Ark Cruise


Bring your pet and come cruise with Pure Florida’s September Bark on the Ark Cruise. This dog-friendly cruise takes guests and their pups on a sightseeing tour from Naples Bay to Keewaydin Island. While on the island, pet parents can let their dogs run, swim and play catch while they enjoy the Naples sunshine.

DeRomo’s Gourmet Market, Restaurant & Banquets is hosting dinner and a show with Sinatra featuring Michael Dutra. Michael Dutra is a world-class singer who has performed from Las Vegas to Atlantic City and everywhere in between. Dinner will include a delicious buffet dinner, dessert and your choice of drinks.

ABC Wine is hosting a wine tasting event at the Naples location off of Immokalee Road. It doesn’t matter if you’re a wine connoisseur or a sampler — they will find you a pour that you will adore. The tastings sampled will be a wide range of high-quality wines.

The Wine Room will be hosting a wine and charcuterie pairing event. Come and enjoy four wines from various wineries. You will also be able to learn how they pair with different types of meat and cheeses that are hand-selected by Grazing Haus.

Comedian Jon Reep Live


Off The Hook Comedy Club is excited to have Jon Reep in town. Come see NBC’s 5th season winner of “Last Comic Standing” live! He has recently been on Netflix’s comedy special: “Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo,” as well as his own new standup comedy special on Amazon Prime called “Ginger Beard Man.”

Seashell Walk


Hosted by Friends of Lovers Key, join a park ranger for a relaxing hike along the Lovers Key shoreline. On this hike, you will learn all about the various seashells, fun facts about how they are created and all the different shelling regulations to help protect these iconic Florida treasures. The tour begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. at the South Beach Tram Stop on South Beach.

Mercato is hosting a movie on the lawn and is showing the critically acclaimed “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” This movie premiered at the end of 2021 and is ranked as one of the top-selling movies of all time. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and any Spider-Man accessories.

Naples Opera is hosting their summer series of classic European opera films and are showing Der Rosenkavalier (Festspielhaus Baden-Baden) with Renée Fleming. Soprano Renée Fleming heads a “galactic cast” in this bittersweet comedy of love.

National Estuaries Day at Rookery Bay


Rediscover the 110,000-acre Rookery Bay Research Reverse on National Estuaries Day. This is an annual celebration of all estuaries, where you can come and enjoy games, information classes, boat rides and more.

Delightful Dolphins


Friends of Lover’s Key is hosting an event to learn more about the dolphins living in our backyard. Come join a naturalist and learn more about our local dolphins. You will discover the unique anatomy, how to maintain and balance their food web, as well as what you can do to keep them safe.

Art After Hours at Artis—Naples


Artis—Naples is inviting the whole community to come out to the Baker Museum and get an inside look at the art at night. This event will be an evening of fun with live music, concessions from Heidi’s Place and free admission to all museum exhibits.
