The Park Shore beach access point at Horizon Way will close Monday as Collier County begins its $5.2 million beach renourishment project. The north end of Gulf Shore Boulevard North closed earlier this week.

Trucks will use Horizon Way beach access to dump 165,000 tons of sand between Doctors Pass and Clam Pass. Workers will use a conveyor system at the Gulf Shore Boulevard North pedestrian access to haul in sand at the northern section.
